Sustainable building

What really goes into calculating CO2 emissions? A look at the carbon foot-print of buildings and what net-zero construction actually means.

One of the challenges of finding topics and telling stories is putting what is happening in clear terms. And taking care to describe the context of each individual case.

We were entrusted with the job of documenting a building project for the Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (BBL). Among other things, we developed a project website where we report on the construction progress step by step in real time.
Main topics: Sustainability in building and labor shortages in the construction industry.

The aim of our reporting is to make the complex and interesting topic of building more transparent and to focus on the fantastic people on the construction site without whom the project would never move forwards.

The latest report – on carbon footprints, net-zero building and the hopes upon which Swiss climate policy rest – is now online.
