The task
domani – the in-house magazine by the time-honored furniture store Neumarkt 17 in Zurich – is published once a year. Together with our client and the graphic designer Valentina Herrmann, we took the editorial helm for the 60th anniversary issue: we were asked to come up with article topics, edit and write texts, and supervise production up until the final proofs were ready to go to press.
Our solution
The issue, entitled “60 Jahre Avantgarde” is a mix of looking backwards and forwards, of characters and their stories. It showcases the cultural entrepreneurship of founders Liz and Fritz Schwarz as well as the creative and innovative developments by owner Andreas Schwarz and his team. It presents collaborative projects, interior design projects and collections. And it shows the recent step that the family-run business has taken towards an architectural-culinary future: with the Nordstrasse 180 construction project and the new Neri – Cantina e Cucina restaurant.
